Hand cut from a coarse, red clay and fired in a kiln up to 1200°c. The main body is left unglazed and is rough to the touch. The top is finished with a rusty red glaze, which sometimes produces flashes of white. The glaze provides a smooth finish so that you can clean off burnt incense with ease, the feet are sanded smooth so it won't damage your surfaces. These are hand cut items with a hand cut design quality, expect some imperfections and differentiation between each item.
