Thrown on a wheel using a recycled mix of Stoke-on-Trent clays, I use my finger to push the clay the walls, creating grooves in the side and a wiggly, frilled edge. The items are finished with a white tin glaze that breaks rusty-orange where thinner and allows the character of the clay body to show through. Finger marks where I have held the item during glazing are left intentionally visible. The item you receive may look slightly different from the photo due to the varied ways this glaze can behave in the kiln.
